Option 1. Delete it yourself, in the app
Open Glowgen and go to Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete account. You will be shown exactly how many records will be removed, asked to type DELETE to confirm, and asked to acknowledge that the action is permanent.
Deletion takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
Option 2. Request it by email
If you cannot sign in, email support@glowgen.ai from the address on the account with the subject "Account deletion request."
We will verify that you control the account before deleting anything, because an unverified request is how one person deletes another person's data. If you cannot email from the account address, say so and ask for an identity-verification path.
Verified requests are completed within 30 days and usually within a few business days.
What is deleted
Deleting the account permanently removes:
- Your account record, name, email address, and sign-in identities
- Every photo you uploaded, including profile angles and progress photos
- Your visual profile and any generated concepts
- Your plan, tasks, task notes, check-ins, and reflections
- Coach conversations and messages
- Squad membership and the content you posted to a squad
- Stored consent records and notification device tokens
What is retained, and why
A small amount of data outlives the account because the law or basic security requires it:
- Purchase and refund records. Retained as long as tax and financial-record rules require. These are held by Apple, Google, or our payment processor, not as part of your Glowgen profile.
- Security and abuse logs. Retained on a short rolling window so a deleted account cannot be used to erase evidence of abuse.
- Records of the deletion request itself. Retained so we can show the request was honoured.
None of this is used to rebuild a profile of you or to contact you.
Deleting the account does not cancel your subscription
A subscription is billed by the storefront that sold it, so deleting your Glowgen account does not stop it renewing. Cancel first, then delete.
Google Play: Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Glowgen > Cancel.
Apple App Store: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Glowgen > Cancel.
Web purchase: use the subscription-management link inside Glowgen, or email support with the account email and transaction date.
Export before you delete
If you want a copy of your data, export it first. Go to Settings > Privacy & Data > Export data. Once the account is deleted the export can no longer be produced.
