1. Agreement to these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Glowgen, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and GlowGen, Inc.
2. What Glowgen provides
Glowgen is a personal planning service that can create identity-preserving future-self concepts, organize visible appearance patterns, build styling and habit plans, track progress, provide coaching, and support private group features.
Generated images are illustrative concepts, not promises or verified predictions. Recommendations are informational and educational. Glowgen is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Eligibility and accounts
Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old to use Glowgen. By using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Account responsibility
You agree to provide accurate information, keep account credentials secure, promptly report suspected unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create a risk to users or the service.
4. Subscriptions, renewal, and refunds
Glowgen Plus may be offered through auto-renewing monthly, annual, or other subscription periods. The checkout screen controls and shows the available product, exact localized price, billing period, renewal terms, and any introductory offer for which the purchase provider determines you are eligible.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled within the time stated by the original purchase provider. You can manage or cancel an App Store purchase through Apple, or a web purchase through the secure Stripe billing portal opened from Membership in Glowgen. Deleting a Glowgen account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled under the rules of the original purchase provider. Contact Apple for an App Store refund. Contact Glowgen support for a web-purchase refund or if a purchased entitlement was not delivered correctly.
5. Your content and our service
You retain ownership of photos, goals, messages, and other content you submit. You grant Glowgen a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. Do not upload another person's photo without their permission. Glowgen does not use your photos to train its own models. OpenAI's API inputs and outputs are not used for model training by default unless the API customer explicitly opts in.
Glowgen materials
The service, design, software, trademarks, and original materials provided by Glowgen are owned by GlowGen, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or distribute them except where law cannot restrict that activity.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Glowgen to:
- Break the law, violate another person's rights, impersonate someone, or submit content without permission.
- Harass, exploit, threaten, shame, discriminate against, or otherwise harm another person.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to the service or another account.
- Upload malicious code, automate abusive requests, scrape protected content, or circumvent usage limits.
- Use generated content as medical advice, a verified prediction, or a basis for unlawful or high-impact decisions about another person.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules or protect the service.
7. Third parties and disclaimers
Glowgen relies on third-party services and may link to third-party websites. Their availability, content, terms, and practices are controlled by those parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glowgen is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free output, a particular appearance, a specific personal or professional outcome, or that recommendations will meet every expectation.
Results vary. Consult an appropriately qualified professional about medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional concerns.
8. Liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowGen, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Glowgen will not exceed the amount you paid for Glowgen Plus during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold GlowGen, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update the service or these terms. We will communicate material changes through the service or by email when appropriate. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, a threat to users or the service, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. You may stop using Glowgen and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights you have under mandatory local law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
